- Father won't let me get rid of old gaming desktop? We built the thing when i was in middle school. I'm in my second year of college and I'm moving out in the spring so i'm going to get a macbook or a high end gaming laptop. It's just that he straight up refuses to let me get rid of that thing. He also refuses to let me buy a new laptop. I honestly don't get it. I work full time, it's not his money that's being used and the desktop takes up too much space in the dorm anyways.
